Electrostatic Disinfection Cleaning

Electrostatic Disinfection SprayingWhen cleaning items infected with infectious diseases, blood and other bodily fluids, it is vital every small amount of fluid is removed and the surface thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. This is easy enough to do if the biohazard is on one flat surface, but this is rarely the case. To reach all those nooks and crannies that infectious diseases and bodily fluid can find its way into, Bio SoCal uses an electrostatic sprayer and disinfectant. By cleaning and disinfecting with an electrostatic sprayer, we can be sure that all surfaces are reached and the area is truly safe and clean.

Whether your business needs thorough biohazard cleaning after an accident or infectious disease contamination, or you own property contaminated with biohazards, our experienced team is here to support you with the latest available cleaning technology in electrostatic cleaning.

An electrostatic disinfection covers all those hard to reach places

An electrostatic sprayer sprays disinfectant on all sides of a surface. To explain how this technology works, imagine a ball hanging from a ceiling. If you stood in one spot and sprayed the ball with a regular bottle of disinfectant, all the disinfectant solution would only fall on the side of the ball facing you. Making sure all the sides are disinfected takes time and extra disinfectant. If, however, you were using an electrostatic sprayer, the disinfectant droplets would be attracted to the entire surface, even if that side is facing away from you. This technique in disinfectant cleaning is faster, more efficient, and more effective.

Inside an electrostatic sprayer, the disinfectant is mixed with water before being combined with a flow of high-pressure air. This flow of air splits the liquid into even smaller amounts, creating a fine mist of micron-sized particles. Then, just before leaving the sprayer, an electrode charges all the droplets with a negative electric charge. Once the spray leaves the sprayer, that negatively charged micron-sized droplet of disinfectant then finds its way to a positively charged surface with a force 75 times stronger than gravity, even if that means going backwards, forwards, up, down, or even changing directions. This surface is on all sides of an object as the droplets seek a spot where no other droplets have gone to yet, thus evenly coating any object.

With the electrostatic disinfection technology, our experienced Bio SoCal team can quickly clean all kinds of spaces including examining rooms, desks, drawers, knobs, or chairs. Even those tiny crannies and cracks in an object are thoroughly disinfected with the electrostatic sprayer.
Our superior electrostatic treatment process

Our staff at Bio SoCal have years of experience in electrostatic disinfectant. Ready to serve you at any time or day or night, our team of professional biohazard cleaners will arrive in an unmarked vehicle and plain uniforms to protect your privacy. After asking only needed questions and answering any of yours, we will get right to work removing all biohazards into marked bags. These will then be disposed of with all required legal permits and licenses for transporting and disposing of biohazardous waste. After all the hazards have been removed, we then clean all the surfaces to remove any dirt and grime. Lastly, we use the electrostatic sprayer to disinfect and fully coat the affected area to ensure all biohazards have been removed, even in the smallest of spaces and the most difficult to clean objects. What remains is a clean space safe for you and anyone else to use.

Electrostatic disinfectants are safe for all surfaces

Electrostatic disinfectant is safe for all types of surfaces including artwork, walls, electronics, paper, fabric, wood, and electronics. After disinfecting the surface, each droplet dries quickly and causes no damage. In this way, we can work quickly through an area and ensure quality disinfection.
