A shocking kidnapping and murder in Chino Hills recently left a Southern California community confronting the aftermath of a violent crime. Once law enforcement completed the necessary investigative work and the affected scene was released, Bio SoCal was called in to provide professional crime scene cleanup services.

For our team, responding after a violent event means working carefully and discreetly while recognizing that the property involved is more than simply a cleanup site. It is a place where people have experienced an extraordinarily traumatic event.

Deadly Kidnapping in Chino Hills

The incident occurred on the night of July 29, 2026, when San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of gunfire and someone calling for help in the 2100 block of Monteverde Drive in Chino Hills.

Authorities said 60-year-old Shukur Aikebaer had been shot and kidnapped. Deputies encountered a vehicle leaving the area and attempted to stop it, leading to a pursuit.

When the pursuit ended, one of the two suspects surrendered to deputies. The driver, however, exited the vehicle and approached the open trunk. Authorities said he then fired into the trunk, where Aikebaer was being held.

A deputy-involved shooting followed. Both Aikebaer and the suspected gunman died at the scene.
The suspects were later identified as Zhengfeng Bo, 67, and Jianquan Bo, 66. Subsequent reporting indicated that Aikebaer and Zhengfeng Bo had previously been involved in business dealings together. The circumstances surrounding the kidnapping and killing remain part of the law enforcement investigation.

Bio SoCal Called for Crime Scene Cleanup

After law enforcement investigations involving a homicide, shooting, kidnapping or other violent crime are completed, the responsibility for cleaning the affected property generally does not fall to police, firefighters or the coroner.

That is when a professional crime scene cleanup company may be needed. Following this Chino Hills incident, Bio SoCal was called to perform the biohazard cleanup associated with the crime scene.

Our responsibility begins only after law enforcement has completed its work and the appropriate areas have been released for cleanup. At that point, our technicians can address blood and other potentially infectious materials that may remain at the property.

Why Professional Crime Scene Cleanup Is Important

Blood and certain bodily fluids can contain pathogens capable of transmitting disease. They can also migrate into cracks, flooring, walls, concrete, soil and other materials depending upon the circumstances of the incident.

Simply wiping away visible blood does not necessarily eliminate the contamination.
Professional crime scene cleanup involves identifying affected areas, removing biohazards, cleaning and disinfecting appropriate surfaces, and properly handling regulated biohazard waste.
Porous materials that cannot be adequately cleaned or disinfected may need to be removed and disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations.

The objective is not merely to make an area look clean. It is to address the biological contamination so the property can ultimately be returned to a safe condition.

Discretion Matters After a Violent Crime

Events such as the Chino Hills kidnapping and murder often attract significant attention from neighbors, news organizations and the public. Once the investigation is over, families and property owners may understandably want privacy.

Bio SoCal approaches crime scene cleanup with discretion and respect for everyone affected. We understand that our clients may be dealing with grief, shock and circumstances they never expected to face.

Our role is to handle the physical cleanup professionally while minimizing additional disruption to those involved.
