Biohazard Cleanup Costs
Every job is different, so every estimate is too. There isn’t a blanket rate sheet for biohazard cleanup, because no two scenes are alike. A small, contained cleanup and a multi-room remediation call for very different crews, equipment, time, and disposal. We price each job on what it actually involves, and every estimate is free
What Shapes The Cost
Pricing comes down to the scope and sized of the project. After assessing the scene, we look at these factors together.
Size of the affected area
How many rooms, square feet, and surfaces need to be cleaned and decontaminated.
Extent of Contamination
Whether biohazards have reached porous materials such as carpet, drywall, or subfloor.
Labor and Time
The crew size and number of hours or days needed to finish the job properly.
Type of situation
Unattended death, trauma, hoarding, and odor removal require different methods and protective measures.
Removal and disposal
The volume of materials and biohazard waste that must be removed and disposed of properly.
Access and timing
Location, building access and how quickly the work needs to begin.
Why some jobs start with a range, not a flat price
Some biohazard cleanup jobs have to be done layer by layer. Biohazards can reach beneath what’s visible, into padding, subfloor, drywall or framing, and the full extent only becomes clear as each layer is removed.
For these jobs we can’t responsibly quote one flat number upfront. Instead we give a possible range based on what we can see, and explain what could move the final cost up or down as the work uncovers more.
