Celebrating 9 Years in Business

Sometimes, it seems like yesterday, but it was nine years ago when I, Alan Cohen, first went to Arizona to meet with another biohazard cleanup company. After working in business development and marketing in the corporate sector, I was ready to create a business that would directly benefit those in my community. I’d heard about professional biohazard cleanup and thought the business might be a good fit for my wife and I as we moved into the next phase of our careers.

In Arizona, I got to experience firsthand exactly what a biohazard cleanup company does from day to day. I had a lot of questions and they were kind and helpful in explaining all the ins and outs of the business. I felt skeptical. Could I really do it? Cleaning biohazards can take a toll both emotionally and physically. Could I deal with everything I would see and smell? Could I go into those difficult moments in the lives of others and offer some help in this way?

Despite my doubts, despite the fact I had never driven a large truck or had any tools for such work, there was something inside me that said this was, indeed, the right fit for us. This was the way we could directly offer help to our neighbors throughout Southern California in their times of need.

The qualities needed to be there on the other end of the line, such as professional, calm in difficult situations, organized, and compassionate, when someone needs a suicide cleaned up or they just found a loved one passed away in their home, are qualities I carried over from previous work. I made it my business to carefully learn all the legal rules and regulations around cleaning up biohazards such as blood and body fluids and bought all the professional cleaning equipment needed for this work. I then hired a quality team who also value high quality work and being there for people who need us.

Now, nine years later, I am so proud of the business we’ve built. I’m proud of our reputation and high standard of service. I’m proud of our team of professional biohazard cleaners and I’m especially proud of the difference we’ve made in our nine years of serving those throughout Southern California.

As we celebrate nine years in business, I would like to thank the community, the first responders we work with, and all the clients who have turned to use to remove biohazards from their properties when they needed a quality biohazard cleanup company they could trust. It’s an honor to be there for you all whenever you need us.
